Hello everybody,
These are some upcoming events and events that were carried out in the past and will be back again.
I hope all of you are doing well in your studies. Exams are coming really soon and I wish all you best of luck and study hard.
Event: Interviewing of YTSA shortlisted for SEA Games 2009, LAOS
Date: End of Oct
Time: To be confirmed
Venue: Singapore Sports Council
We will announce the shortlisted YTSA in Mid October. YTSA who are shortlisted will be required to turn up for an Interview. Shortlisted YTSA will be based on number of hours you clocked for events and CD projects. Besides that, your contribution, attitude towards all events will be taken into consideration. Recommendation by teachers and leaders will be bonus to you. However, all shortlisted candidates’ final decision will be made by Team Singapore. All the best to you!
Event: 25th SEA Games Flag Presentation 2009
Date: 9 Nov 2009
Time: 5.30pm
Venue: Nanyang Polytechnic
Pre-Event: 20 to 30 YTSA to come out with an item and end of with a cheer. I will post out more details again in Oct.
Event: 5th YTSA Christmas Gathering

The Christmas gathering is an annual event that we organise to gather all the YTSA at the end of the year for Christmas party and catch up session.
Event: 2nd Basic Instructor Training Camp (for 5th batch YTSA ONLY)
Date: Next first quarter of the year (To be confirmed)

The Basic Instructor Training Camp aims to develop potential leaders and camp instructor for the upcoming and annual YTSA Induction Camp. The BITC will cover the essential skills required to lead a group of 15 to 20 students in a camp.
Event: 1st Advance Instructor Training Camp (for YTSA Leaders ONLY)
Date: Next March School holidays (To be confirmed)
Time: To be confirmed
Venue: To be confirmed
The Advance Instructor Training Camp only caters to YTSA who have gone through BITC. AITC is a test of leadership, endurance, mental, emotion and physical. Only YTSA who have gone through the camp will advance to be in the Executive Committee in YTSA.
The above details are subject to changes. Hopefully we can carry out all of it. Nevertheless, I hope to see everyone back again in YTSA and spread the Sporting Singapore Spirit.
